At the invitation of the Taiwanese Association of America, Professor Mao-Hsiung Chen (sitting, third from left), member of the Examination Yuan of Taiwan, and his wife visited the Twin Cities on Friday, March 6, 2004. This was their 7th stop during the half-month tour of 11 cities in the United States. Chen gave a talk on the 2004 Taiwan presidential election at an informal seminar co-sponsored by TAAMN and the University of Minnesota Taiwan Student Association at the U of M St. Paul Student Center Commons Room. Before the seminar, Ray Tsai (below), president of TAAMN, hosted a dinner reception at the Peking Garden Restaurant. Some 30 TAAMN and TSA members attended the seminar.
