National Digital Archives Program Delegation Visit, November 10-13, 2004

Headed by Ovid J.L. Tseng (sitting, second from right), vice president of Academia Sinica, Taiwan, an 18-member delegation of National Digital Archives Program (NDAP) attended the Museum Computer Network Conference 2004 in Minneapolis. According to the 2004 National Digital Archives Program, the NDAP is one of the nine National Science and Technology Programs sponsored by the National Science Council. The goal is to preserve in digital form Taiwan's cultural collections in major museums, libraries and universities around the nation. The delegation attended the 4-day conference and made two presentations on "National Digital Archives Program of Taiwan: A National Effort on Digital Preservation, Creation and Utilization."

L. Ju, section chief, Department of Audio-Visual Materials, Government Information Office; and Jung-Wen Wang, publisher & CEO, Yuan-Liou Publishing Co., Ltd.
