Many individuals and groups, both official and civilian, from Taiwan
have visited Minnesota since
the 1970s. They came to share with the Taiwanese community in the
Twin Cities their views, experiences, aspirations, and struggles concerning
every aspect of life in Taiwan, including domestic politics, economy,
education, labor, dance, music, health, journalism, literature, and
foreign relations. TAAMN has either been the local host or joined
other Taiwan-related organizations to extend its warm welcome to these
individuals and groups.x
